1. The Elaphant's Child

Helen wants to buy the lease for the center's sauna and solarium. But how will she get the money? Carole is a changed woman after taking a new assertiveness course. She tests her new attitude out on Mr. Brittas. Julie's baby is delivered in Colin's basement office.

2. Reviewing The Situation

Brittas new staff-review policy is causing trouble between Colin and Gavin. Furthermore, Mr. Brittas has discovered that according to Government sources, Timothy Whistler doesn't even exist! Julie is a witness at a trial but she receives threatening letters. So she is watched by an armed bodyguard who frisks everyone in sight.

3. HTTP Etcetera

The Lottery Council has given the center a huge cash grant for Internet Tele-communications. So Mr. Brittas decides to computerize everything. This causes the staff to feel useless and redundant. So they attempt to sabotage the new system with the help of a teenage computer whiz.

4. Wake Up The Lion Within

Mr. Brittas returns from an American management course brimming with enthusiasm for a new technique that requires people to roar and release the lion within. Carole becomes the best at releasing her lion, in fact she gains so much from it, that she pushes Mr. Brittas out of his job.

5. The Disappeareing Act

Councillor Druggett introduces an Employee-of-the-Month competition. The staff all try to please Mr. Brittas so they can win. Gavin's Birthday Party Package is being tryed out by Julie's niece. Things are fine until Uncle Colin's magic act makes more than just a rabbit disappear.

6. Gavin Featherly R.I.P.

Gavin is worried. Brittas has forced him to write a letter of confession to a record company that he had made an illegal copy of a relaxation tape. Now the company demands him to pay a $10'000 fine. Perhaps a weekend spent at the beach will ease Gavin's worried mind. But then his clothes are found on a deserted beach! Has he comitted suicide?

7. Exposed

A TV reporter plans a visit to the center. Brittas, hearing the Center is about to get "TV exposure," advises the staff on TV presentation techniques. The reporter ends up giving a negative review, describing Carol as "looking as though she'd just been released from a mental ward." And Colin as "looking like he had a flesh-eating disease."

8. Curse of The Tiger Woman

Brittas celebrates his fifth anniversary at the leisure center by baking a cake, but the staff refuse to eat it because they are convinced that Brittas has been cursed an old gypsy woman. People and birds have started dying everywhere Brittas goes. Colin launches a model of Noah's Ark in the swimming pool, and a build-up of marsh gas results in an emergency evacuation of the Leisure Center.
