4- 1 Martin in the Corner Pocket
Gina realizes that the honeymoon is
over when Martin spends the evening playing pool with Tommy and Cole. Martin
gets hustled by a female pool shark and loses the clothes on his back.
Then has to explain to Gina why he's come home naked.
4- 2 Kill Him
with Kindness
Mama Payne overhears Gina discussing
life insurance policies on the phone. She assumes that Gina is plotting
to kill Martin for his insurance money.
4- 3 Blow,
Baby, Blow
Suddenly Gina, Pam and Cole can sing!
But their talents are not appreciated by the Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie Smalls),
who has asked for Martin's help in finding a new background vocalist.
4- 4 Ring
a Ding Ding Gone
Tommy and Cole complain that Martin's
wedding ring frightens off single women. But it's Martin who's running
scared when he loses it and has to figure out how to tell Gina.
4- 5 Love
T.K.O.
A quiet night at home is out of the
question for Martin and Gina. They are continually interrupted by Tommy
and Pam's bickering. And Cole breaks up with Big Shirley. Then wants Martin
to meet all of his new girl friends, one at a time.
4- 6 He
Say, She Say
Cole falls for a pretty woman who has just appeared on "America's Most Wanted."
4- 7 Uptown
Fright Night
Cole gets robbed while picking up Gina's
birthday gift for Martin - an expensive ring. So he gets Tommy and Jerome
to help him catch the two female thieves. The thieves are played by Salt-n-Pepa.
4- 8 Old
School Loving
Martin meets with Gina's boss, then
gets her fired from the ad agency she's been working at. Now that Gina
is unemployed, Martin wants her to do housework, but she refuses.
4- 9 Cole
on Ice
Cole has lost his job. So Martin gets
him hired at the station. A job that Cole fouls up. But then Cole gets
the Phoenix Suns' Charles Barkley as a guest on Martin's show.
4-10 Housekeeper
from Hell
Martin and Gina are both working, and
they are making good money. Why not hire a maid? When that maid turns out
to be Florence Henderson, The Jeffersons old maid, then the idea goes sour.
The maid takes over, making Martin's life unbearable.
4-11 Three
Homies and a Baby
Martin agrees to babysit his infant
nephew Camaron. But in the end, Bro'man and Sheneneh have to help out.
4-12 Headin'
for Trouble
Gina gets her head stuck in their new
brass bed headboard. Tommy uses a welding torch to get most of it off ,
but he might burn her if he cuts too close. So Gina must attend an important
board meeting with the brass bars hidden under a big wig and shawl!
4-13 Swing
Thing
Martin is chosen to be featured on the
morning tv show 'Get The Hell Up Detroit.' He must prepare for a
camera crew that arrives at his apartment at 5 AM. Then he gets invited
to a Christmas party by a respected business man and his wife. But leaves
in shock and disgust when it turns out to be a sexual orgy.
4-14 The
Bodyguard
After Pam and Gina witness a bank robbery,
they are placed under the watchful eye of Otis the security guard.
4-15
Green Card
The Hispanic building superintendant
is about to be deported, unless he gets married in a hurry. Pam, who despeately
needs cash, agrees to be the bride -- for a price.

You're All I Need
Gina gets a sexy make-over to rekindle her relationship with Martin.
4-17
Kicked to the Curb
Martin finds a bigger and better apartment
for half the price they're paying now. So he decides to sublet his old
place to a young couple, and move into the new place. But then the deal
on the new place falls through, and it's too late to move back. Martin
and Gina end up in the street! So they devise a scheme to scare off the
new tennants. Tommy, Pam and Cole masquerade as dangerous criminals. The
plan works nicely, and Martin gets his old crib back.

The Best of Martin
A 100th episode special hosted by Tisha
Campbell. Tisha Narrates, and clips from past shows are featured. There
are also several bloopers and out-takes shown.

The Love Jones Connection
Sheneneh crashes a Love Connection
show screening, then gets chosen! Chris Rock guest stars as Shenenehs disrespectful
date.

Where the Party At
It's Martin's birthday. Gina attempts
to arrange him a surprise party. But Tommy and Cole say thay aint interested
because Martin never does anything for them. Then they fool both Martin
and Gina by throwing a huge surprise birthday party for Martin at Nipseys.
4-21
Homeo & Juliet
Gina gets a part in a Shakespeare play.
When Gina announces she must kiss a male actor, Martin disapproves. But
all is not lost. That actor injures himself, and Martin must fill his shoes.
4-22
The Cabin Show
Gina wants to spend the weekend at a
cabin and kiss Martin under a legendary waterfall. But Martin has to see
his ball game on tv. He ends up going, but brings his watchman portable
tv. On the hike up to the falls, Pam sprains her ankle. Martin must help
Pam back to the cabin, but they get lost, and must huddle together beneath
a blanket until help arrives.
4-23
The Tooth Will Set You Free
Pam has a horrible tooth-ache and must
go to the dentist so she will be able to date Michaelangelo the
famous artist, that evening. The dentist hypnotizes Pam so she will not
feel pain. But Martin busts in to the dentists office and shouts that Pam
needs to be 'More like Martin.' When Pam wakes up, she is acting like Martin
that whole night on her date.
4-24 Martin,
I Want to Sing
After Pam's cousin wins an open mike
contest, Martin decides to become her manager.
4-25 D.M.V.
Blues
Martin's attempt to renew his driver's
license turns into a confrontation with the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Cutting in line, long waits, cheating on his test, fist fights, and legal
action all combine to make it a memorable experience.
4-26 Why
Can't We Be Friends (1)
An argument between Tommy and Martin
results in the two not speaking. Cameo by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
4-27 Why
Can't We Be Friends (2)
A feuding Martin and Tommy stop speaking
until a major car accident puts Tommy in the hospital. Martin rushes to
visit him, and finds him in a full body cast - toe up! Martin sobs at his
bedside and vows to renew the friendship. Then Tommy walks through the
door, and Martin discovers that it's not Tommy in the body cast afterall. |
