A vote to raise MP salaries sparks a contest between Jean and Richard,
with Jean responsible for taking a 20 pound investment and turning it into
30 pounds and Richard agreeing to live on supplemental public benefit for
two weeks. |

Jean takes on health care and Social Services for a constituent whose
spleen was removed by mistake, a man who didn't have quite enough of his
leg amputated and a woman caring for an infirm father-in-law. |

vaguely attributed sources when a new reporter begins covering the action
in the lobby of Parliament. |
